How to upload files in a folder?
Through File Manager in control panel, we can upload up to 7 files at a time (Maximum File Size = 2 MB and Maximum Upload Limit = 8 MB applicable ) .
Steps:
- Click on “Upload” icon.
- In Upload file(s) pop up, “Browse” and select the files from your local computer for uploading.
- Hit “save”
Note : If a file with same name as that of an existing file is being uploaded, it will overwrite the existing file if you keep the option “Overwrite exiting file(s)?” is checked.
How to create a basic Home page?
Please login to your control panel login information. Once logged in, please click on File Manager on the left hand panel. You will be directly taken to the folder where your website related files are present.
To create your own home page, you would need to delete or rename index.php file already present.
To delete file: select the file by clicking on it once and hit “delete” icon in file manager navigation bar. Click “yes” to confirm deletion.
To rename file: select the file by clicking on it once and hit “rename” icon in file manager navigation bar.
Now, click on “New File” : Enter a “Name:”, Choose “Type: File” and leave “Target of the Symbolic Link:” blank. Hit “Create”.
Once created, select the file by clicking on it once and hit “Edit”. File will open in a text editor. Enter necessary HTML code there and “Save” it. The access the page through a browser type http://domainname.com/filename.
